1. Acceptance of these terms
By using this website and its submission system you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy and Publication Ethics policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. The service is operated for the Journal of Neuroscience, Psychiatry and Computational Science (JNPCS) by its publisher, SiaCore.
2. Accounts and security
- You must provide accurate information and a working e-mail address, which you must verify.
- Accounts are personal. Keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
- Roles such as reviewer or editor are assigned by the journal and cannot be self-assigned.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or the ethics policy, or that is used to harm the service or other users.
4. Reviewers and editors
- Keep manuscripts, reports, discussions and decisions confidential, and use them only for the purpose of the journal.
- Declare conflicts of interest and withdraw when one exists.
- Do not upload confidential material to external tools that store or reuse it, including AI tools.
- Be courteous and constructive in all communication.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- try to access data, accounts or files that are not yours, or test the security of the service without written permission;
- upload malware, executable files or content that is unlawful or infringes the rights of others;
- overload, disrupt or misuse the service, or use automated tools to collect content except as allowed by the site’s robots.txt and indexing interfaces;
- misrepresent your identity, affiliation or role.
6. Content and intellectual property
You keep the rights you hold in the material you submit. By submitting you allow the journal to store, copy, review, edit, format and, if the article is accepted, publish and archive it as set out in the agreement and licence that apply to that article. Unpublished submissions are never made public.
The journal name, logo, design and software of this site belong to the journal and publisher or their licensors. Published articles may be reused only under the licence stated on each article.
7. Availability, disclaimers and liability
- We work to keep the service available and the data safe, but it is provided “as is” and without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- Opinions in published articles are those of their authors. Articles are scholarly material and not medical or professional advice.
- We are not responsible for the content of linked third-party websites.
- To the extent permitted by law, the journal and publisher are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.
8. Changes and contact
We may change these terms or the service; the version and date at the top of this page show the latest update, and continued use after a change means you accept it. Questions about these terms can be sent through the Contact page.
